shrimp biryani

shrimp biryani 
Ingredients
3cups of al rice
1l4 cup of oil or butter
2 large onions chopped
3-4crushed garlic cloves
1kg of shrimp peeled
2tsp ginger chopped
1tbsp biryani spices
4tsp salt
1l2tsp black pepper
2-3bay leaves
1stick of cinnamon
1tsp ground cardamom
1l2cup of yogurt
1l4cup of tomato paste
1l2cup of fried nuts
Method
Soak rice in salted water for 30 min
Put 2tbsp of ghee and onion in a medium pot cook until golden add garlic and cook for 1 min
Add shrimp ginger spices salt pepper bay leaves cinnamon turmeric cardamom and coriander stir-fry for 2-3min
Add yogurt and tomato paste .leave on medium heat for 10 min or until shrimp is tender
Meanwhile boil the rice in salted water until it doubles in size strain
Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a medium pot. Fill the pot with half the rice shrimp mixture and remaining rice
Heat the remaining ghee and sprinkle over rice
Cover the pot tightly simmer for 40-45 min until rice cooked
Sprinkle with nuts.
